SUMMER PROGRAM 2024
Our summer camps and clinics were extremely successful last year and allowed our club to grow exponentially in numbers and talent. We've added some new, fun opportunities to the schedule and tweaked a few things in some clinics from last summer in order to elevate the volleyball talent across the Denver Metro area. We believe our Summer Program has something for every athlete at any skill level. Check out what we have to offer below!

DENVER JUNIORS VOLLEYBALL CLUB

OPEN GYM
Our Open Gyms were so popular last summer that we had to rent more courts! We had record breaking numbers every session and we expect that to remain the same this summer. If you're looking for extra reps in each skill and a lot of game-like playing opportunities, Open Gym is the place for you! We have a court for every level of athlete. We let the girls get reps in hitting lines, serving, and passing, and then move on to playing 6-on-6 drills!

HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING (HPT)
High Performance Training is designed for female athletes aged 14 to 18 (8th grade-seniors in high school) who are looking to refine their skills and become faster, more precise, and more successful players. Our experienced coaches, Alan and Alysa, will focus on each volleyball skill while emphasizing speed, decision making, playing under pressure, communication with teammates, etc. Players will receive hundreds and hundreds of touches/ repetitions on and with the ball in order to improve the position they play on the court.
PRICE: $50 PER SESSION
$80 FOR BOTH SESSIONS

SKILL CAMP
Skill Camp is for Middle School and High School aged athletes with little to many years of experience. We will break down each skill from the beginning and work our way up to game like drills to put those skills to the test! Athletes will be separated on different courts based on skill level. It is 3 hours long. There will be two, with a 15 minute snack break in between. These camps will be lead by Coach Alan and Coach Alysa.

DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
Due to the high volume of emails we have received in demand of our Developmental Program, we have decided to run an 8 week Summer Program! The DP teaches the important, basics of each skill in volleyball at an age and skill appropriate level. It is perfect for players aged 8-14 and skill levels of no experience to rec/gold crown experience. What makes us different from most other Developmental Programs is that we make sure the letters F-U-N are capitalized in the word FUNdamentals. Athletes have to fall in love with the process and the best way to do that is to make sure they learn in a fun and positive manner. This program will run twice a week for an hour and a half each session.
PRICE: $250 FOR ONE MONTH

STRENGTH - AGILITY-
SPEED
Coach Alysa will be leading one hour training sessions twice per week. Alysa has an extensive background in S&C. She has a BS in Exercise Science, completed her internship with Loren Landow (S&C coach of the broncos, olympic, collegiate, and high school athletes), and co-owned a successful sport-specific S&C company for three years. Athletes will learn very important skills and gain necessary strength that can be tranferred to the volleyball court. Acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, foot speed/coordination, vertical, and stamina will be worked on heavily throughout the sessions. This is definitely something every athlete needs to become a better volleyball player! There will be a VERY limited number of spots available, so don't wait too long to sign up!

Tryouts for the 2024-2025 season are here and we want YOU to be a part of Denver Juniors Volleyball Club! You only have to attend one tryout (unless a coach asks you to come again).

"CYL was created to prepare young players (5th - 8th grade)for the Club experience, to elevate players' skills, and to strengthen the love for the game."
CYL is a great way for athletes to get better coaching and competition before the club season starts in November than they tend to get with a middle school, gold crown, or rec team. Our teams are coached by our top club coaches and because of this, they go on to have very successful club seasons.
